So, as many of you know I got a membership... to a gym! & with that membership came 2 personal training sessions. My personal trainer, her name is Brooke & we get along very well. Anyway, we were in the first session and she was telling me about her life... she just had a baby 3 months ago & she looks STUNNING! She went on to tell me Im in good health not too fat not too lean, which was nice to hear. ha and set up the next session for last night. and last night she kicked my butt! Im soooo extremely sore this morning!
It was mostly a lower body work-out. We did intervals on the treadmill for 20 minutes, then 3 sets of 10 on the leg press, 3 sets of 10 doing squats, 3 sets of 10 both on the inner and outer thighs and 3 sets of planks. and boy oh boy does my butt hurt! ha
This Friday I start this thing called the 12 week Challenge. Its through Golds Gym, open to the community. Honestly, Im really excited! We are doing it through work as well, so thats kind of a added bonus! There will be a small prize for the one who wins out of the office (4) and the grand prize from Golds is a Cruise to Mexico! 1st place is $500 & 1 year membership, 2nd place is $100 cash & 6 month membership! Its going off the most transformation. They take a picture and your BMI at the beginning middle and end and then the judges judge off those pictures and BMI. I will be posting pictures every 2 or 3 weeks to show my progress and my transformation! Stay tuned :)
JUST looked at Bodybuilding.com and saw this 12 week challenge there with a TON of prizes. I know thats a crappy way of doing it, BUT I figure all the motivation the better :)
